Toshiba Encore 2: very affordable tablets based on Windows 8.1

Toshiba Company has updated tablet Encore with Windows operating system. It was replaced by two models. One of them has the same 8-inch screen, is equipped with a second 10-inch matrix.

This company is prevously released Encore Toshiba, it was been an attempt to gain a foothold in the market Windows-tablets. However, this was not done so simply because of relatively high cost of the tablet. Then manufacturer has installed on the conclusions and younger model Encore 2 is quite democratic price, which allows the tablet to look quite competitive even against Android-devices of similar size.


Technical parameters are: processor Intel Atom Bay Trail, 8 inch display with resolution 1280 x 800 pixels, 1 GB of RAM, microSD support. The same parameters has a 10 inch tablet.


This tablets has an operating system is Windows 8.1, supports all the latest updates and support for legacy applications. In addition, the plates are preinstalled office suite Office 365 Personal activated with a one-year license. But exact date of release is unknown, also unknown the date of going to the market.
