Microsoft Corporation bought partner company GreenButton

Microsoft Corporation after years of cooperation agreed to buy its partner - GreenButton, working in the field of cloud computing. GreenButton is a unique feature of the range of services provided by its quick connect applications to cloud resources.

GreenButton company will become a part of the cloud division of the Microsoft Corporation for collaborative creation and launch of a new cloud service.

GreenButton was founded in 2006 as a provider of cloud services for network deployment and application support, which is not enough local resources. The company's specialists have created for their clients a special set of tools to integrate applications with the "clouds" within a few hours.

Earlier in 2011, Microsoft announced the launch of a joint project with GreenButton called Azure. Microsoft Azure is a cloud platform for the development and application support.
